In my previous Essence blog I’ve written about the two sheetmasks wood you love me from the same collection. I also told you I would make another review but then about the eyeshadow & highlighter palette and the falsh lashes, so here it is.
From the forest, with love
The Essence wood you love me palette contains 4 different shades of eyeshadow and 1 shade of highlighter. The colours really remind me of the forest with the nice brown and greenshades. On the back side of the palette are two examples of this beautyifull smokey eyelooks you could make with this palette. Because I have green eyes myself I think I will use the brownshades mostly. Besides that the frontsides has this really cute moving picture when you twist the palette a bit.
I wasn’t really satisfied with the previous palette from Essence
I am satisfied about this palette. I found the pigmentation really good, definitly for this price. The colours contain a light shimmer, but the fall-out of these colours isn’t as bad as I would expact with a shimmer shade. I’ve made two eyelooks with this palette, for the first eyelook I’ve used the right two colours and the middle as a highlighter. For the second I’ve used the two left colours and the middle as a highlighter. What I think is a advantage of this palette is that you can take it so easily with you, if you want to wear during the day a lighter colour you can change it for the evening to a darker smokey eyes.
The palette contains the next ingredients
Talc * Mica * Dimethicone * Magnesium Stearate * Pentaerythrityl * Tetraisostearate * Isopropyl * Isostearate * Synthetic Wax * Caprylicc/Capric * Triglycerde * Parafinnum Liquidum (mineral oil * Diisostearyl Malate * Ethylhexyl Stearate * Tin Oxide * Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate * Ethylhexylglycerin * Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane * Ethylhexyl * Methoxycinnamate * Phenoxyethanol *
Can also contain these ingredients too

Eye love you
Since a while I am totally in love with falsh lashes, when I go out for a daily thing I’m not actually wearing them, but I do think they give this certain finishing touch when I photograph make-up looks for my blog or when I go to an event I want to wear a nice natural set.
Below I will show you the difference between the same eyelook with falsh lashes and without.
As you can tell for yourself the left photo is with falsh lashes and the right photo without falsh lashes. These lashes are pretty intense tho so I think I’m going to cut them a bit shorter. But I am pretty happy with these lashes and I’m really curious how long I could use these. I do have to say honestly I don’t wear as much mascara as I would be on the look without falsh lashes. I just used a bit mascara to blend my real lashes with my falsh lashes.
The glue from the falsh lashes contains the next ingredients
Acrylates/Ethylhexyl * Acrylate Copolymer * Aqua * Phenoxyethanol *
The wood you love me palette costs €3,59 and a set of falsh lashes with 1ml glue costs €2,99
What do you think of this palette? Do you use falsh lashes too?
